Could you elaborate a little about your Murray Carter knife? What sets it apart from others? Impressions on the steel? Ease of sharpening? Price....if you don't mind.
 
heres a couple i own tho rarely actually wear. only way id wear a neck knife on a regular basis is to have some sorta breakaway on the thong/cord/chain.

this one was made by a guy from kansas, robert palameres. i only bought the knife. made the sheaath myself.

may actually take this one to the grinder one day and make it a more useful tool. its rather thick and crude.

the izula, of course, would make a great little necker. tho i prefer it in my hip pocket. forum dude, hoopster, made the sheath.

Been seeing a couple of people on various youtube survial streams carry a mora 1 as a neck knife. I may follow suit. I do have a BK11 but i like that better in my front left pocket.
