Hey I want you to know you made me miss one of my favorite shows... Northern Exposure.... thought you guys might like that since its supposed be set up in your neck of the woods.... :D

The beginning of the show, where the moose walks through town? That's not really how it is here, but during my recent (3 months already?!!?) wedding, there was one walking through a field a block from my house.

Badger Attacks look good, but I think they would be a little big for EDC. I'm thinking about going to a fixed blade since my folder is marginally legal in Canadia. (Can be flipped open, thus possibly a "gravity knife") Hence my lust for the AD.
AD is a nice little nife.. got one from Eric... modified grind... nice little knife.... sits in my safe... a lot of good its doing me in there huh.... :D

Aren't those puppies supposed to me a bit dangerous?

can be, but depends on the situation... lone moose are okay, mother is DEADLY... watch the ears, laid back is bad... I have even fed a baby moose(well, a young'en, 1 or 2 yrs old)

They are kind of like hogs, really. Only dangerous if startled, pestered, or kept away from their feed. :D

Seriously, though, I've seen a video of a mother moose with baby (cub? hatchling? moose kitten?) that was walking through a town somewhere in Canada. These kids had been chasing the pair of meese around for a while throwing snowballs at them, and finally let off. About two minutes later, this guy comes walking along and the she-moose tramples him to death.

Sounds pretty dangerous to me.... Ears back huh... just like dogs then....

Hehehe. That reminds me... My wife showed me a baby pic of my stepdaughter tonight where she was running around naked (about 3 or 4 years old at the time) with a cardboard box on her head. I told my wife that that was definitely a pic to keep around at least until our daughter's teenage years when she has friends over.

NOT A PROBLEM... They are bigger than horses... and even some Clydesdales... Magnificent creatures... This winter, i'll try to get a pic of me and some infi in front of one.. ;)

Um... bear stories? I was once about 50 feet from a grizzly while driving through the highest point navigable by paved road in Canada. (Highwood pass in Alberta)

I also helped raise three squirrels.
