  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Let's have some fun...Pick only 2

KAI - Mostly because it covers the kitchen stuff as well. And I do love Flippers, especially assisted ones.

Fontenille Pataud - I just like the classic French knifes and they have a good variety of those.

If a little cheating were tolerated I'd say Böker instead of KAI, as they also are a reseller for various U.S. brands here in Germany ;)

I see that I'm the first one to say Victorinox.
Second would be Ka-Bar (thanks to the first guy to post as I was having trouble picking a second and was leaning towards Becker anyway!)

Kai and Leatherman. Bonus-- both have warranty work taken care of within 45 minutes of where I live.

You said two companies to buy from, does that mean we can keep and carry our current collection as well? If so, I would only buy from John Grimsmo and Shirogorov. If I could get a Norseman and a Model 95 with the MRBS, I believe I would be a happy man for a very, very long time.

1. Strider--my sng is just a beast of a knife, love it
2. KAI--I have a Kershaw Blur and a ZT0350, and I like that KAI works with multiple designers.

1. Benchmade: I have many knives and I think their folders are the most consistent in terms of quality, fit/finish, materials, etc.

2. Condor: I find their machetes to be the "best bang for your buck". A machete is a hard use tool, and who would want to hard use a $100+ machete? Not I...although, ymmv

Oh I forgot about machetes. Definitely Kabar over Mora then. Not true machetes but you get the machax and bk9.

Fallkniven is number one for me. Their fixed blades are unparalleled for my uses and not too expensive. Two would be ZT for their folders.
