  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Let's have some fun...Pick only 2

Spyderco mainly because of selection and their knives have never let me down.

Benchmade simply because they make knives that others are judged by.

Ka-Bar - You've got Becker, Johnson, Dozier, and the kabar line all tied up in there. Heck, I could probably go with just them and be set.

KAI - Same as above, great products, great company. Kershaw, Shun, ZT...pretty much covers all my needs here, as well.

Ka-bar
KAI

As much as I love my traditional knives right now I can't toss in a traditional manufacturer like Case, GEC, Queen in there as I haven't owned one yet. But Kabar and KAI knives were always worth the money and never let me down once, so I have to side with you on that. On the plus side both have put out some type of traditional knife either present or in the past so all hope is not lost for me.

Easy choices for me...

1) Spyderco to cover my folders... their fixed blades are quite nice, too.
2) Victorinox to cover my multi-tools and kitchen knives.

Busse and KAI. Would stick Spyderco in there, but none of the designs since the Southard have peaked my interest.

1. Leatherman Wave - Love this tool. It has everything i need for EDC and more.

2. Kutmaster (3 blade vintage) - Picked this knife up a month ago at an antique store, along with several other vintage pocket knives and butcher knives, and i am loving it. It looks like it was never pocket worn and never sharpened. The three blades give me a variety of cutting options for the tasks at hand especially woodworking.

On second thought, I think that it would be a good idea to only buy CRK and Hinderer as my two knife brands. Then I would be able to trade them to anything that I want!:D

I'm going to have to say Busse and Hinderer. They are, to me, the two best knife brands made. Incredible warranty, good established businesses, and 100% made in AMERICA. I really, really like Spyderco, and have many Spydies. But Busse and RHK edge out Spyderco on the American made issue. :-)

Neat thread though.
