Ya know what's pricey? $200 for a freakin' Hinderer Ti scale, lol. I mean, yeah. And he sells every last one of 'em.
Too bad you couldn't just order one the way you want from the get go and save 300 bucks. I plan on blowing another 100 on all bronze anodized titanium hardware too. It will be a weird feeling to be 895 dollars into a knife.
I know lol I have plans to buy one along with copper hardware but have been recovering from all my recent purchases. I might just say screw it and buy one soon cuz last I checked DLT only had a few left.Haha, I just ordered my first Hinderer (Gen 6 XM-24) and am already learning about how hard those are to come by. I guess I'll just scan their site from time to time and hope I get lucky. Looks like the "bead blast" finish would most match the standard finish on the lock side?

Thanks !! She’s all stonewashed down to the bone^^ Nice! Stonewash or Working Finish?
Just a matter of taste but for some reason I prefer the choil but I think that’s awesome they have the option on the 18 and agree for the 24 it would be nice for those that prefer it . I like to be able to choke up on the blade with the choil. On the 24 there’s so much blade you don’t notice the blade edge loss but on my 18 I had no choil I noticed the differnce on the shorter user edge . Again still plenty of edge to use on the 18 no choil but just my personal preference.Wish DLT had a No Choil Slicer XM-24 in Stonewash. It’d be mine!

You can now spend the same and get a 24 with CPM 20CVA long time ago I was admiring the no-choil M390 XM-18s on DLT (and still in the eyeballing XM-24 phase) so I inquired about the likelihood of ever getting some XM-24s like that. I just didn't feel comfortable spending 595 and getting S35VN when those special XM-18s had M390s.
The response I got was that XM-18s outsell 24s by such a margin that I shouldn't hold my breath for some special XM-24 exclusives. I would like a no-choil -24 too. I think the -24 has less blade shapes too I know I've never seen the Harpoon Tanto in that size, a blade I'd really like.

Just matter of size vs the 18 .
Also watching on DLTs website the 24’s appear to be selling out faster then the no choil or with choil 18’s . So not sure how long ago you inquired . Doesn’t make one better then the other it just a matter of which flavor you like .
Just saying![]()
I think you’ll be very happy as these 24’s are built like a tank but have the finesse of a Rolex . What a great knife I’ve had the pre tri-way 24 and after experiencing the new 24 on bearings it’s a night and day knife . Plus it’s nice if you ever want to go old school or you plan on rolling around in the sand you can go bushings.I know, which is why I finally pulled the trigger on my first real Hinderer. Well, 20CV and the new Tri-Way pivot, improved detent, and lockbar insert. Hopefully my XM-24 arrives from DLT on Monday, I can't wait. I plan to swap the show side to a full Ti slab and all the hardware to bronze anodized titanium eventually too when I find it all in stock.
