Lets see some Hinderer action

When I do it, I rest my middle finger on the blade right over “USA” and then with my fingernail resting on the thumb stud I push the blade out. View attachment 1334853
As you can see, its not straight up or straight out, but at an angle. The main thing though is not to push down too hard on the blade, which I think goes for regular opening with the thumb stud also.

Hope it works for you!
Ahh!!! I just tried and my fingernail FLEW OFF

I Just kinda rested it back on and ductaped it. Hopefully it bonds

It’s never hurt my fingernail...
I try to push with the top of my finger, not necessarily the pad and not the nail either, but the top.

Now it will tear up your finger if you do it continually. Mine is sore atm lol

Thanks! It worked, I was able to get a couple good deployments using the finger tip and not my nail like usual spydie flicking.

I can middle finger flick a lot of knives, my first time with a XM18 though. I'll keep working on it and hopefully it will get better! Good lookin out.

Weird. I noticed I cant tighten down my gen 6 pivot as tight as I could when I got it.

Hopefully it stops

Skinny skinner came in today, worked on my Rick himself.

Curious about the lock up, my other XM's have much more contact between the blade and the frame lock; anyone see any problems with this or this normal? Not sure if you can see it but only the corner contacts the lack bar insert.

Anyways, so far I love this knife... it flips like a dream!

Congrats, you were one of the lucky ones ! They were gone in 5min or so ... And don't worry about the lock-up, I suggest. It will also work itself in.
