Lets see some Hinderer action

New Jurassic in today! Battle bronze. A tad smaller than I had imagined, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, and it's super ergonomic. I've got some micarta on the way for it that should be here this weekend. I think some bronze hardware would go nicely but so far I haven't been able to track down any screws in stock. Action is great, but I might try it out on washers, as I intend it to be an outdoor/hiking knife.

I really wanted a triway jurrasic, looks great. how is the thickness? Like a regular XM18 3.5"? That 3.25" is the sweet spot for me on blade size so I think I would really like that one.

This is only my second Hinderer after my FullTrack so I don't have the XM18 to compare it with. I think it is the same though. Thick, but with the slicer grind I'm hoping it will perform well. I had been eyeing the Jurassic for a while now, and was particularly keeping an eye on this one which was the last slicer grind/battle bronze version I could find in stock. Finally when I saw SDK had the Jurassic micarta scale back in stock it pushed me over the edge, and I snatched both up while I could.

Speaking of the micarta, it came in today and I threw it right on. With the micarta on, I couldn't stand waiting to find bronze screws in stock, so I fired up the stove and bronzed some of the hardware myself. It really tied the room together ;)

Awww yeeeuhh

Your knife is definitely worth more with that. Very cool

Ya I'm probably not gonna sell it, but you're probably right, I guess it could add value to the right person.

Personally I thought the tactical peanuts were the real value though haha.

This blade shape has really grown on me and I find myself just grabbing this guy everytime I open the safe. It just cuts, flips and carries perfectly, I can't ask for more.

Mine's a spearpoint & is the same blade thickness as my XM-18 spearpoints, but for some reason the Jurassic seems to be a much better slicer than the XMs. I don't know why.

Question; Why aren't there more Timascus, Damascus, Mokuti accessories for RHK knives? I see it on almost every other knife but not XM's or RHK in general.

I'd love a set of Mokuti hardware, specifically skinny specific. Anyone know something I don't?

Will there be more Hinderer knives released soon? Kind of itchy for a new one to add to my collection (regretting for not grabbing a DLC 3.5" skinny slicer or fuller spear).
