Got my first Hinderer today

Yeah I'm trying to get one of each of the blade styles that I like every time I get a new one. Bowie, spanto, slicer...next probably Wharnie and then the harpoon
 
yeah I was on the fence at first but I've been seeing more of them, would definitely go for it too. I didn't know they were M390 either, so that's another bonus. That & 20CV I need to add to my family.

Yeah the store I got it from was about a 50 minute drive one way and I didn't have any intentions to buy yesterday and I walked into the store and it was the first thing I saw. I handled a Strider SNG which I've been eyeballing, a couple different Medfords and some more Sebenzas. Definitely glad I decided on this 3.5. It's taken no time to break in either. But anyways so I came back home, gathered up my funds and then went back with a group of friends and I even helped them pick out their own knives (I'm the only one who bought a Hinderer) but it was still a good day.

I always love when customers come in with different intentions and then we show them something like this and everything changes. Cool you drove back with all your buddies!

Oh you know it! I'm all for shopping and supporting local business. The owner of the store actually gave me a discount cause 4 out of the 5 guys I took bought something.

I always have intentions of buying a new blade but I do like to know and handle/feel what I'm buying. I've held a 3.5 before but after getting a good deal and it being the harpoon spanto I couldn't resist

You definitely got very lucky. We have a pretty long list of people dying to get their hands on one of these!

That's exactly why I had to go back and get it. I was in shock when I first saw it and it was the first one I held. I wish they a had a half track though I don't at the same time cause I would be broke 😂 I've handled the skinner, bowie, spearpoint and don't like none as much as this style. Maybe only the new harpoon spearpoint or slicer would keep up to par with it.

You are right about the Half Track. I hated them at first and then I put one in my hand. Now I own 3:eek:

I think I have this one lined up to buy.
It's gonna cost me a pretty penny with that scale, though.
Looks like I'll be listing a bunch of knives for sale today or tomorrow...
