I wasn't sure if it was just my particular knife, but I do think that the detent on mine is better than my other Hinderers. I always thought the detents on my XM-18 and XM-24 are a little soft, and my Project X is a bit too stiff. They are all still good, but I always thought they could be a little better.Definitely a keeper for me with the perfect detent and lock bar release . Put a couple of drops of KPL on the bearings since I had it apart for the new hardware with a slight piviot adjustment and she is a dream now. Was good before but even better now. I actually ordered some Skiff bearings and I have no idea why lol it really doesn’t need them imo so I’ll probably ending up just hanging on to them for a back up .
However, right out of the box, I felt that the Eklipse was better. Right in the "Goldie Locks" zone.
Since you said yours is perfect, I guess it's not just my particular knife. I guess maybe it's just an Eclipse thing.
