Lets see some Hinderer action

RHK did manufacturer them, can you perhaps remove it to look for the logo? Its not always there, sometimes they get missed, but my copper scale does have their logo where its milled out.
My example doesn't have the typical interior marking in the milling pocket, thanks for confirming the heritage though!

Just received my replacement XM-18, due to the first one having terribly bad lock stick. Not without effort though. The dealer basically insinuated I was retarded and didn't know what I was talking about(at least that's how I took it). He seemed to think I was bothered by some dirt on the lock face, when in fact I really don't care what the lock face looks like. However, if there is visual marring *and* it has massive lock stick, well now we have a defect and a problem. He still claims he flipped it for an hour with no lock stick, which is either an incredible coincidence or an outright brazen lie. Anyway, in the end he entertained my complaint, and remedied the issue adequately. So B+/A- rating. The new one feels fantastic, lock effortlessly disengages, and wouldn't you know it, the lock face is free from imperfections. Hollow re-grind town, tally hoe(I will never financially recover from this)!

I believe older RHK scales did not have pocket milling, they were solid, and more rare to find these days. However, I cannot confirm whether they had "RHK" branding in the inside. Double check my claims though because I am not experienced with Hinderer

yeah that is really dope. that is BEGGING for a BGM or Transparent hollow grind, they could probably make it compound too and keep the front portion flat. that would be the meanest hinderer blade of all time, aggressor with a compound hollow. super cool, might be my favorite hinderer blade shape ive seen. that tip is something else

I am a fan of BGM and their grinds but I like my Hinderers the way they come from the ranch. Too each their own though.

I will say that Hinderer has really started dialing in their hollow grinds and overall sharpness over the past 2-3 years and they will easily shave hair off my arm without any pressure at all. I have found that a lot of the models before that are not that sharp out of the box compared to what they are putting out now.

i just wanted a reduced tbe, the usual cutting tasks i do benefit from thinner geometry. i have some other hinderers with factory blade geometry as well, this will be only re-grind in my entire collection. i have a skinny hollow eklipse getting a professional mirror edge on it right now to hopefully make it the sliciest off-the-ranch hinderer possible. excited for that one.

this is why i thought the aggressor would look sick with a regrind. not sure how rare that blade is, i wouldn't want to alter it if it's super rare.

Old-timey-fication complete… at least as far as I can get for now. Wish I could get a brass pivot nut and lockbar interface screw for ultimate vintage-osity, but.

A buddy knows a guy who can probably mill a brass blade stop/thumbstud, but I dunno if I’m gonna seriously entertain that.
