Let's see some knives headed to Seattle next weekend

I like Michael's version of boring.
John, not too sure about that square guard....just teasing.
Lot of great looking knives here.

Can anybody tell me when and where and what time this show in Seattle is?! I have been wanting to go to a show for some time now and I live right in between Seattle and Tacoma.. So I really don't want to miss out if I have a chance ta get up there.. what is the name of the show etc.. or is there a website with more info? Thanks!! :D

Here is the thread about the show. Mike

Here's our modest pile, Adam has been spending a bit of time building us a boat in between forging sessions but it doesn't seem to slow him down too much. We're really stoked about this show and leaving here on Tuesday to hang out with Dave and Andrea Lisch for a few days prior. Now the pics.

The 12 3/8" bladed ORC ANGEL
18" OAL
2 3/4" wide
3/8" thick

Talisman II

3 3/4" X 1 5/16" Blade
8 1/2" OAL

A 7" W2 Santoku with Hawaiian Koa courtesy of Burlsource
12" OAL
1 5/8" wide

One of Adam's 'happy knives' that he smashes out when he wants to chill. I affectionately call this one the Bone Kolectr.
14" X 2 5/8" Blade
19 1/4" OAL
5/16" Thick

Another W2 Santoku, clay hardened with curly ash

A chubby W2 hunter with Palisander wood

3 7/8" X 1 1/4"
8 5/8" OAL

And a laddered W with maple burl, also from Mark.

That's the goods! We're really looking forward to this show, going to be quite the party :)

What a great looking batch of knives Andrea and I are looking forward to the visit Andrea put a finish on a 7 foot long X 3-1/2" plank, I thought on Thursday along with a bit of cleaning, we could gang up on making it into a bench that can be used at the pre funk then I might need to find a place in the backyard for it ;)
I still need to sharpen and buff the handles on these sadly the knife on the bottom will not make the show a friend that I invited to the show stopped by the shop to tell me he could not make it as he would be out of town not wanting him to miss out I let it go early. I will still have 4 chef knives and 2 bowies I am going in to finish the bowie today and monday I will finish the kitchen knife. ssk2.jpgssk1.jpg

Sounds great Dave! I was thinking I could toss together an appetizer Friday too, surely there's some flame around that I can melt some cheese over with all those forges going right?

fondu! That sounds awesome :)
Stu and me are driving down Friday and should be there around 1.

Last one I have making the trip.

Dave, Sorry I will not be able to make the Pre Funk. My flight won't get into Seattle until 9:30 PM. Sounds like a great time. Maybe next year I can plan a little better. See you next weekend. Looking forward to visiting with everyone.

I am so stoked about this show I don't know if it is Friday at Dave's or the show but this is looking to be a great time. Can't wait to see everyone.

Great looking knives everyone. This is going to be an awesome show.
If you are a knife collector and are not here, well...

A couple more. I sold the slip joint for gas money though. He will pick it up at the show.
