Got the same combo coming, went for hand shaped handles though in hopes that they'll be slightly thinner than full magnum thickness. :)
 
That looks great! I'm having something special done to mine so I won't get it for a while.

Meluck (or anyone else that has a MOABolo in hand), would you please post the actual overall and blade length measurements of yours? The math in the ganza specs does not add up. Fusion handles are roughly 6" like it shows on the NMFSH (9 1/2" blade with 15 1/2" OAL) in the ganza thread... this should make the blade about 12" if the OAL is 18".

Thanks for this pic...it looks like the MOABolo has an almost 12.5" blade! I don't know how it happened, but I'm glad they got the measurements wrong- this is a fantastic surprise :D :banana:


Couple more questions if you don't mind- How does it feel in hand? Balance? Is it heavy feeling or does it wear its weight well?

Thought I saw 11" for a blade on that also. Maybe someone measured from the plunge line? :):thumbup:

It's a beast. I don't have a MOAB to compare, but I do have a NMFBM and a CG FBM and it is heftier then either. It just feels hefty and solid...don't really know how to explain it since I have no comparisons.

Balance is right at the logo.

I really don't have a sense or feeling about its heft and weight, sorry. I have handled a MOAB in the past, and I don't remember the MOAB feeling this hefty...that's really all I got and it is just and opinion...I hope others can weigh in on this.

Unfortunately I'm working this weekend so no time to try it out, swing around the house has everyone on edge though.;)
 
I'll take a picture of mine with some other blades in the morning if I can sneek away for a little while. Let me tell you, this knife is awesome. Lighter than my MOAB and heavier than my FFBM :).

Those were my thoughts exactly! Seems like it's been a historical year for Busse already - First the B8 release, then this new "2 weeks" mystery, and now the MOABolo blade-length possibly being measured from the plunge line?! YUP, I'm going with seriously big year for Busse - and we're only just now past the first quarter of 2015! Freakin' awesome!!!

LOL! I can understand everyone else in your house being a little uh, intimidated by the sight of that thing...perhaps even more so when the MOABolo in motion! I appreciate you taking a minute to share your impressions of it...CGFBM and 1311 are the only large Bussekin I've had, so your decription helps :thumbup: :cool:

Meluck, thank you very much for that pic! This means that my gamble based on the numbers that the MOABolo would be more than just a modified NMFBM paid off! This is going to be one sweet chopper to give my TTKZ a challenge for the chopping title! :D

Sorry to hear that bro....

Kinda makes sense though- to store sure a savage blade, even as blanks could be seriously hazardous to employees and the other innocent pieces of INFI ;)
