Lets see those Battle Saws!

I dunno... needs the fusion handle. I'm just not big on the straight handle for some reason.

Has some nice infi dimples. Still need to hit it with some scotchbrite but I have to get ready for work tonight so play time is over

I love how Busse steel looks straight after stripping... wish it could stay that way!

It looks like this one will require some serious elbow grease to get under that decarb layer. Makes me tedium tired just anticipatig it.

^^Wow, that is looking good. What has been your process to remove the decarb layer?

Removing the decarb is just sand paper and and elbow grease. Starting with 100 grit and working up through finer grits until you're satisfied..... Kcwater I did not etch the logo

Looking pretty darn good Nemesis!!! I haven't decided yet if I'm going to strip it right away, or wait awhile. We'll see once I have her in hand. Speaking of...

Just got the ding on my Tanker Grey and Blue a minute ago! Woohoo!!! :D
Congratulations! I always say I'm going to try them coated but I just can't.
A little play time

I am really loving this blade. The CBT gives a nice taper down to the edge and makes it chop through smaller stuff like butter as below, and it had enough weight to chop through dead dry cherry in my post above.

The top saw Mark is ten seconds of sawing with the coating. The bottom is ten seconds after being stripped

I just got dinged on my battle saw as well!

Battle Saws in time for Christmas! Chop those hams and turkeys boys!
