Let's See Those BG FBM's

I have to hand it to Jerry & crew, every Busse knife I ever got has exceeded expectations, and they continue to do so even though I expect my expectations to be exceeded. This knife just blew me away, the green micarta is just absolutely perfect and gorgeous. What a knife!

DamBowie thats a nice one. And the new gen of black micarta seen on the last page looks pretty sweet. Black micarta with a capital B vs the older only black when wet micarta

Thanks, I agree all the micartas look great lately. I wouldn’t trade this green for any of the G10s, it’s that nice and the feel is just amazing.
 
I usually prefer micarta myself especially for users, just always kinda wanted to try orange, lol I figured if I was going to try something bold I'd find the biggest damn handle busse had that wasn't a sword

I love G10 as well and it’s usually more consistent. Black G10 is always perfectly black, bruiser is always beautifully black/blue and so on, and all I’ve ever bought has been g10: this is my very first micarta knife and I’m blown away. I agree that it makes a better user while I think g10 is more reliable looks wise and the color is more solid and saturated. Just more reason to get multiple knives and cover all bases :D

I don't have an INFI FBM, but as a point of reference/comparison, my BG FBM weighs ~26 ounces and the BME2 only weighs ~21. I like that they're so different, makes it easier to justify having both.

Or all three... The DTBM is in the middle. Mine shed some weight with mods, but comes in at ~23oz.

It's good to have variety in your mistresses. Sometimes you want her to be slender and light, sometimes you want something more to hold onto. In the middle you have that agile, athletic build with plenty of muscle. :thumbsup::D

Nice CZ and nice new blade! Killer combo for sure though doubt I’d take either on a duck hunt ;)
 
Damn that green g10 looks nice, less brownish tint than last years. Now I'm stuck between black blade with green g10 "maybe with muddy", green micarta or maroon for my next :oops:.
 
I haven't decided on what kind of sheath to build for it yet, mostly likely it will go on a pack. Probably going to do a leather sheath with tie down points or loops for malice clips on the back.
 
is it just me or does the green canvas look tan ? and tan canvas look dark brown ? funny how the micarta coming out the shop varies month to month

Makes sense--I have a nylon sheath from a BK20 that I'd use for pack carry (assuming it fits right), and Chad will be making me some leather. Looking forward to seeing how you'll make yours! I've always been impressed that you build your own. Merry Christmas, Dave.

This just came in not 30 minutes ago. If the Bossman reads these posts himself, just letting him know it was a pleasant surprise and an honor to talk to him, and to have Jerry Busse take time to go out of his way to return a call to a customer on a Saturday afternoon is simply spectacular. With all the shipping mix-ups this time of year especially, I would've been just as happy to wait until after New Year's to get a shipment after things calmed down, but this evening when the doorbell unexpectedly rang... there it was. Appreciate the people who deliver the packages, their money's well earned in freezing rain on a day like today.
