LETS SEE THOSE MAGNIFICENT HARNESS JACKS

I don't know if this qualifies as "Magnificent" but I do like it a lot.

The fact that I looked at for so long trying to figure how they kept strips of metal together and then find out it's celuloid it may just be magnificent, but now for may what be a stupid question but the put strips in side the celuloid cast.

Thanks, Oldy. Looking on google images, I found pictures of this kind of celluloid used on vintage fountain pens more often that pocket knives. I don't know how they made it, but it looks very much like two or three different colored "cracked ice" or marbled cell material, cut into narrow strips and then fused together randomly. Running a thumbnail across it, I can't feel the lines, so it probably has a clear layer on top.
I'm with you oldy, I think that Harness Jack Knife of R8shells there is very cool!
It's been a favorite lately. I've been hoping GEC would someday make a #14 Boys Knife Harness Jack, but it hasn't happened yet. Oh well, having a vintage version is better anyway. ;)

R8shell, definitely! The thing that I like about the "new" Harness Jacks is that Charlie was behind their resurrection and to see your wish come true but with the Waynorth / Buffalo stamps on it would 100% seal the deal.
That punch there was the sibling who has never shared the spotlight with it's more famous Spiral punch sibling by Camillus simply because there are no spirals- otherwise a perfect match to each other.

Like Oldy said, that Celluloid is extremely attractive- I think it would go down well even these days if releases on a knife, just a real talking point without being over the top.

Another reason I like this little HJ. It doesn't have the Waynorth stamp, but it did come from Charlie. 😁 A very thoughtful surprise gift.
So based on the punch design, do you think it was made by Camillus?

I would say so, the Knife could be made by Camillus for Sears ( sharing this tang stamp with other cutlery manufacturers), or Colonial, Kingston also used this as well for Army knives which your lovely HJ isn't :)
But Honestly R8shell, I am not an expert by any means, but if we were all round a poker table, I would put some cash down on the table and say Camillus all day, but because I say certainly doesn't mean it is, but my bet wouldn't be small. That's a Camillus punch.

Charlie is a gift! that's so neat R8shell, the knives I have from Charlie carry extra weight as well, as does all our gift knives should from our friends within this amazing House of ours.
Gives a lot more meaning to the knives. A knife I carried on my Wedding day should tell you how much that knife means to me - gifted by Charlie it is a Red Bone Case Barlow and Charlie gifted it to me as it was made around the time of my birthday, I owned one before- and that one I gifted to our great mate Harry, but this one from Charlie just may be the one prized from my hand at the embalmers 🤣
