Hiya! I can't stand to let this thread get buried!

Here is my HJ collection as of two weeks ago. Sadly, I had to sell the 5 due to some unexpected expenses. I've since then found a #3 which is on its way to me now.

Just need to re-acquire a #2 and a #5 and I'll have the gang all together! :D

Nice!

I finally managed to get an example of all eight. I need to take a group shot and post it up here.

They are all fine, but I definitely have my favorites: #8, #6, #1 and #5. If #6 had half stops, it would have been absolutely perfect for me.

Dan - SO SO nice to see you posting HJ's. And what a line up!!
I can't wait for my latest lot of HJ's to arrive! Thanks to Paul very kindly shipping them over for me- thank you my friend.

Virginian - Sir Yes Please can we have a look see!!!

Duncan, the face of the Empire punch is slightly hollowed out.
Bill looked at a few of them, and decided they probably "shaped" a stone wheel to grind them. They would produce thousands at a time, taking orders from various cutleries when they were going to run them. My friend Tom in Winsted found letters between the cutleries as evidence of this. His aunt used to work in the historical society in Winsted, CT!!

Thank you Charlie. I have no problem admiting Iv'e much to learn about the punches alone- what you have explain is very interesting- so thank you kind Sir.

Bozack- what a sweet line up- I have had the pleasure of a Stunning Washington Jack some time ago arrive on my doorstep- and like the label suggested that th 77 Jack is one of the more beautiful Traditional knives - and I honestly whole- heartedly agree- and now they have come out in HJ form - YES!!!!!

Hey Clutch - 85 and Stag - does it get any better?

Phillllll!!!!! Washington HJ -Oh man I cant wait for mine to arrive - man the sacrifices I have made for these arriving HJ's
Thats a beautiful knife Philllll - thank you for sharing your great knives guys

Alright, this is a custom handmade, not a factory piece, but that should be OK on this thread.

A prototype Harness Jack by the great Shigeru Tozaki of Japan:

Please take my word for it - the picture does NOT do it justice. The handle scales are a jigged bone that Shig makes himself. I doubt you will ever find anything closer to old Remington bone. And the level of fit and finish is incredible.

I am beyond thrilled with it, and I hope that you enjoy seeing it.
