That is a great knife. I have the same one - Cocobolo (?) I believe. It was my everyday carry for many years. If they made them again, I'd buy them again..

Yes this is coco. I can see how it remained your carry for years. Every morning when I visit the knife bowl, it's a struggle to pick anything over this one! Such a fantastic companion.

That boat (getting another Washington) sailed away for me … last few on big auction site have gone for four figures (not asking, but sold for more than a grand…now a few have popped up with asking prices in the $1200 range). Im just happy I have one!

Oh Man.... if only...... Charlie that is simply wonderful that Knife! I agree with you Sir, he did respond in Kind with his beautiful interpretation of his Very Clean Punch - that whole Knife is just outstanding, in saying this...lay the Washington down next to this wonderful art piece and it would not look out of place in any way!

That little feller is just a RR knife pick. The punch on my 77 is a nail breaker, so I got a pick to help open it.

And I totally forgot I had this one until today. CC aka Waynorth HJ8 in Gabon Ebony. Never used, carried or sharpened.



Someone told me these have gotten rather pricey.

That little feller is just a RR knife pick. The punch on my 77 is a nail breaker, so I got a pick to help open it.

It does look like a little friction folder, doesn’t it!? And yes, that 77 is definitely one of my favorite knives. It’s a keeper!!

You forgot you owned that??? , Well I bet that was a pleasant surprise, to be honest I often do this as well, I usually go through the Knives with Ren Wax and Mineral oil- checking through them and often going " Oh Yeah... that's right"..... and it's like you just opened up a box from the mail again

Lol, the knives are sitting on an old piece of military canvas (I think from a tent). The red is what remains of some printing on the canvas. My fingers are fine, although I’ve come close to cutting myself several times trying to open the punch on that 77!
