Lets see those Scandi grind knives.

What a great second knife and you put many a maker on this forum to shame

Thanks for the compliments. I am fortunate enough to have a mentor who has helped me to troubleshoot several potential issues before they became an issue. I've been learning a lot and really, really enjoying the creative process of knife making for myself, friends, and family. I must admit that a part of me wants to keep this one as it's not only really nice looking but also my first woodlore pattern blade that I've made. But, I also can't wait to see my father's face when he unwraps it at Christmas and knows that his son made it just for him.

That or short saber grind with a swedge maybe? I don't know. Interesting look though, any details about it to share?

Sure sent a design to a custom maker here on bf. Wanted a thumb ramp. He modified a harpoon style blade shape he had. 4.5 handle of leopard wood. 4.1 inch blade D2. It is very ergonomic for my hand. I wanted something like if a mora and a sharpfinger had a love child.

Here's a new Adventure Sworn that showed up Saturday...

This might be the most comfortable handle I've ever held.

this is one I just got in a trade and probably not a household name- it's Haugrud, Norway- evidently specialize more in silversmithing, but also make knives
