Let's see with wish list's, WITH PICS!

I agree with ya XMP. But until the aliens come and unify us as a race I think the ones at the top are easier to wish for. LOL

Granite gear traditional #4 portage pack. I hated the portage packs I used on my trip end of august so these are probably more comfortable, it's relatively inexpensive and most people were using them on the portages in the boundary waters. I've been looking in to doing more canoeing so to have this would be aaaawwesooomme...

My trip up in the boundary waters taught me alot of things, it was my only real camping experiance...and what an experiance it was. Sometimes, it could be a painful experiance...just ask my feet when they were outside my boot wearing my brother size 12 (im size 10.5) feild n stream slip ons...I fell a few times in them soaking my pants and scraping my knees. I think these would be awesome for camp shoes, or just tromping the streets of st.paul.

As requested, here is a picture of my Brian Andrews Bushcrafter and my Nebula, both with matching firesteels. The Bushcrafter is 5/32" D2, Natural Micarta w/ Red liner.
P1020579.jpg

It is the sharpest knife I have received to date.

Those are cool but Marstar seems to be perpetually out of stock.
:grumpy:
Would love one outfitted with some ghost ring sights.
Hmmm i know they are legal to own because they meet the minimum overall length law but are they ok for wilderness carry?
Isn't there a barrel length minimum for hunting?
I'm hoping i'm wrong on that, lol.

How compatible are the parts with the Remington 870?

Yeah Marstar seems to be really bad at actually having the stuff they "sell" in stock...:rolleyes:

Its completely legal as its non restricted, there is no reason you couldn't carry it anywhere you would carry any other non restricted firearms. Same goes for hunting with it, although you would probably have to plug the mag as most provinces have a 2+1 capacity limit. I can't say i have ever heard of anywhere having a minimum length barrel for hunting as long as its non-restricted etc.

And to keep with the spirit of the thread, The next thing on my wish list is a Ruger mark III hunter with a 4 1/2" bbl. http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdView?model=10132&return=Y Id also like to step up from my canon S5IS into a dslr like a rebel XSi or Tli.

Number 3: Busse Battle Mistress.

Number 4: Actual, honest to God Japanese katana. Not a knock-off. (again, something I know I'll never own)

My wish list includes (but is not limited to) the following:

True North Aero Vest.... Wish this one came in tan.
VEST.jpg

A pair of Danner Desert Acadia boots.
BOOTS.jpg

Gransfors mini hatchet. Was lucky enough to handle one at the Mischief, FLIX was kind enough to bring it along!!

Also on the list is a new 5 stitch belt from The Wilderness, a Semper Paratus Tactical sheath for my new Steel Heart, and a mikeymoto leather sheath for my Battle Mistress.

The one knife I want more than any other is a Matt Bailey. I have never seen a knife from him that I didn't love. His knives are untouchable as far as I'm concerned. This is my favorite. I really wish I could have bought this thing.

The ForSale thread for this knife.

My favorites are when he uses green G10.

Buck 110 S30V

I just got the Buck 110 AG (had cabela's gift certificate) to replace my old 110 I gave to a neighbor of mine. It's a very nice knife, definitely digging it. The TiNi coating is excellent too, tough stuff and no friction :thumbup:. And if the emblem annoys you as it did me, a razor blade and some flitz will take it right off :).

This probably fits here:

The Wants of Man

"MAN wants but little here below,
Nor wants that little long."
'Tis not with me exactly so;
But 'tis so in the song.
My wants are many and, if told,
Would muster many a score;
And were each wish a mint of gold,
I still should long for more.

What first I want is daily bread –
And canvas-backs – and wine –
And all the realms of nature spread
Before me, where I dine.
Four courses scarcely can provide
My appetite to quell;
With four choice cooks from France beside,
To dress my dinner well.

What next I want, at princely cost,
Is elegant attire:
Black sable furs for winter's frost,
And silk for summer's fire,
And Cashmere shawls, and Brussel's lace
My bosom's front to deck, –
And diamond rings my hands to grace,
And rubies for my neck.

I want (who does not want?) a wife, –
Affectionate and fair;
To solace all the woes of life,
And all its joys to share.
Of temper sweet, of yielding will,
Of firm, yet placid mind, –
With all my faults to love me still
With sentiment refined.

And as Time's car incessant runs,
And Fortune fills my store,
I want of daughters and of sons
From eight to half a score.
I want (alas! can mortal dare
Such bliss on earth to crave?)
That all the girls be chaste and fair, –
The boys all wise and brave.

I want a warm and faithful friend,
To cheer the adverse hour;
Who ne'er to flatter will descend,
Nor bend the knee to power, –
A friend to chide me when I'm wrong,
My inmost soul to see;
And that my friendship prove as strong
To him as his to me.

I want the seals of power and place,
The ensigns of command;
Charged by the People's unbought grace
To rule my native land.
Nor crown nor sceptre would I ask,
But from my country's will,
By day, by night, to ply the task
Her cup of bliss to fill.

I want the voice of honest praise
To follow me behind,
And to be thought in future days
The friend of human-kind,
That after ages, as they rise,
Exulting may proclaim
In choral union to the skies
Their blessings on my name.

These are the Wants of mortal Man, –
I cannot want them long,
For life itself is but a span,
And earthly bliss – a song.
My last great Want – absorbing all –
Is, when beneath the sod,
And summoned to my final call,
The Mercy of my God.
– JOHN QUINCY ADAMS

What model is that G-shock? I have a mudman coming in the mail too, the G9000 I think, it looks like yours but with red buttons.
