Is that Crye? Can't tell but killer bag! Here's my hiking bag I always keep my 14 in the front pocket and it's the bag I take in the car with me every day. I think one of those tweeter sheaths would look good on the side of this bag.

This little group are all things that reside in my BK-7 stock sheath... Minus the collapsible grappling hook...

it's just a multicam bag I got at my local army surplus store, was only 40. built pretty damn solid though for the money. Was thinking of buying something like a Rush 12, but for the price I would buy this again in a second. Is that Crye? Can't tell but killer bag!![]()
yea I thought it was a mil-tec one as well, the tag inside said actiongearcanada, it's the exact same bag as the mil tec one, same material and everything. Seems they're made in a factory somewhere and then sold under different brand names I believe. You're right about it not being the same quality as maxpedition/5.11 products but for the price I could buy 2 or 3 of these, and they're pretty decent quality. You will be more than happy with them especially if they're just emergency bags. I use mine for hiking, fishing, and day to day use and I have no complaints really. It LOOKS like the Mil-Tec 30L bags that Amazon has... They have a 30L and 50L version... very reasonably priced and seem to be relatively well built for the price... not a 5.11/Maxpedition... but very usable.
I'm probably ordering one next week. If it's decent quality, I think I'm going to use these as the in-car emergency trunk bags.
I thought about getting a decent lumbar pack. When we hiked at Natural Bridge State Park, it made me wish I had one.
Those are nice, and thanks for the offer, but I was looking to get something a bit more streamlined. Just a smallish bag with a couple of bottle holders is all.I've got a Mountainsmith Tour lumbar pack in Black thats in great condition if you are interested.
Alright BeckerHeads, I have a question.
I've been thinking about tweaking my bottle holder kit. I have a 40 oz Klean Kanteen and a GSI cup, which works, but the GSI cup is a tight fit and causes the inside compartment to bulge and take space from the front pocket.
Is there a cup that is a bit narrower than the the GSI that would allow the BeckerHead bottle to nest inside?
Yeah, I have a Snowpeak titanium mug that my bottle sits in pretty well, its slightly too big. I usually pack around the bottle with tea/coffee bags or a bandana to eliminate the clanging.
Thanks Murph. Is that the 600 size? I was looking at that one, may be a possibility.
