Let's see your Becker survival sheaths!

I always carry condoms. Wherever I go. Always.

I don't want to gear this kit towards "survival" simply because you don't get into situations like that around here. You're never more than 6km away from the nearest road. I go camping/hiking frequently (with girls even, mind you) and if I have condoms with me I've got that base covered.

I think it would be weird for a 22yr old single guy who carries 2lbs of gear in his backpack every single day (without ever needing 90% of it) not to carry condoms. They weigh nothing, don't take up space, and (unlike my fire kit) I usually end up using them now and then. Not dying of AIDS or catching one of the numerous other STDs out there is pretty cool and even kind of survival-ish, I think.

I carry tampons, too. Call me weird if you want.

BTW, your pic isn't showing :)

I'm just kidding around with you - chalk it up to me being a cranky 50 year old who hasn't had to even think about using or carrying a condom for more time than I'd care to admit. I'm jealous, that's all.

As for the pic, I've been trying to figure out how to post them properly, so which one are you referring to, or do I just not get the joke?
