Yes, it was inspired by it. I'm a long time admirer of Gil's work. I couldn't afford the real deal, so I forged my own from a bar of 1/4" 1095 that I had in the shop.

2 FBMs both with Kenny Rowe swivel swinger sheaths: 1st LE with a rattlesnake inlay on the sheath to match the snakeskin micarta scales; 2nd main user a black on black CG with magnum grips and a plain black basketweave sheath :thumbup:

Here's my well-used Becker Brute...A fantastic camp knife. I would bring it on a camping trip over a hatchet anytime. This thing splitted quite a lot of wood, and always asked for more. The back side of the blade is very usefull around camp.
