Let's see your Charlie SFOs

What a trip down memory lane for me! It's nice seeing an HJ1 appear on the scene - the one that started the series. Who knew I'd get to HJ7? And counting!!! Wonder what HJ8 will be? Guess I better start thinking about it. . . .
Thanks everyone for showing all your SFOs!!
And for your enthusiasm!!

HJ8!!! When you think about that- that's quite monumental - a real Credit to you Charlie.

I for one am keen as mustard and waiting in line- because I just know I have to be early - the HJ runs so far are simply just THE best.

WOWEEEEEE!!!

I managed to pry the Cr. Red Bone HJ from Dans hands - Dan Sir - thank you so much for considering me to be the next Custodian of this lovely Knife, its a superb knife that I am so proud to own - what a sweet sweet knife!!!

Paul delighted us with his amazing Stag HJ he manged to score a short while ago - well the way it worked out I managed to grab one as well!! - Oh man....MAN!! what a absolutely Stunning HJ - just an amazing beautiful knife in every way!!

The HJ1 Worm Groove was a fantastic score - I think this knife is a Home Run hit out of the Ball Park - just a amazing, Beautiful knife - Whew.... I feel quite proud to own these honeys-they join my slowly growing and very important HJ Collection, there two lots of knives that have captured me - the TC Barlow range, and the HJ...... I actually feel deep down that the HJ is the road I would like to take - but cant turn away from the TC's -and who can blame me?..

Again apologies for the terrible photo - its now dark outside...

Duncan....great score. You have a very nice grouping there.

As I sit at the pharmacy awaiting my flu medicine, this thread
got me to thinking about knife collecting/accumulating.
When I was a child, I bought whatever I liked with my lawn cutting
money. Lots of parker and son, frost cutlery, and vic saks.
There were souvenir knives, and gift knives from family.
After high school I focused more on girls and motorcycles, but
still enjoyed my knife hobby. I have always liked older things, various
yard and hand tools, cookware, etc., so I began to get the s&m premier
knives. But I did not like all the patterns, and wanted something different.
I didn't know what that different was, but Charlie did. What a great
bunch of knives he has designed! I have at least the most recent
3 hj, and an ericks jack. The hj's are usually Christmas gifts from
my wife. With 5 kids between us I am way more picky about what
knife I buy. I know that I will enjoy the design, and the execution will
be top notch. No pics yet, but all my hj's are ebony. I missed out on
the radio jack to carry, but am hoping the next run has a long pull!
Guess I just really wanted to say "Thank you, Charlie C."
You efforts are greatly appreciated, always looking forward
to what is next!

Well said, Jody! I've seen Charlie go from a few knives per year to where we are now and I love vision and the journey. It's amazing what he knows and imparts to all of us.

Nice words guys - I sometimes feel quite embarrassed how I try to describe how much the SFO range means-but its really nice to ALWAYS see people mentioning this.

My only Charlow...

Don't blame you. If I had that one, I'd also probably sell the others.

The Tubes are just great, each label with Charlies personal descrption of the knife, and at times if you are lucky enough, you come across a tube with and even more personal touch by THE man.....

Here are the two I have, I think the Washington Jack is my favorite.

Great couple of knives, Augie! These #77s are definitely my favs of all the SFOs Charlie has dreamed up! Can't wait for the single blades in these to come out later this year!

I had to take this one just to debunk the phocket myth that's going round.

Hey meako,it worked!:D Can you, or anyone else who may know, tell me if the second barlow from the left is considered the tan saw cut? Excuse my ignorance but I don't have many of these and was curious.
Thanks,
Perry

The culmination of about two solid years of searching came about today; I give you, at long last, the HJ1.

It's a user, but that's A-OK by me. It's riding in my pocket right now. Happily. :D Notice the two different shades of the covers? It reminds me of Sarah's harlequin TC! Obviously it's not that different, but I love it!
