Let's see your Charlie SFOs

Thank you Duncan:thumbup:

Is that a Primitive Bone TC or an Ivory Bone? Exquisite Barlow whatever!

Regards, Will

How I managed to get these 3 knives, let alone in one week, is beyond me. These are, without a doubt, the three greatest knives I own. Maybe the best I will ever own. Now there's been a lot of talk about the new #77's from GEC, and I had one for a few days. But I can tell you this, for ME, they in no way compare to the feel of Charlie's barlows. These knives are the perfect size, shape, and weight for my hand! They are spectacular.

Looks like you managed to find that elusive sheepsfoot in gunstock walnut!

...and think about this: the gunstock walnut from Charlie's dad was from the ~1950's. Now a walnut tree can live to 200 years old, lots of them do here in the upper midwest. So say this one did, that means this tree could've been alive during the Revolutionary War! I am lost in thought on where this tree might have come from. Remarkable, no? Someday, my 2 sons will learn about these 2 knives, and maybe be lucky enough to pocket them. After I'm good and ready to pass them along (not on the horizon by a long shot :D).

That two blade sheepsfoot in the gunstock walnut is hands down my favorite traditional out there that I would want. I wish I could find one somewhere however small my chances may be.

Glad to see his thread pop back up. :D

Matthew32 - I suggest ya read the rules good sir.

Now that this thread is back up maybe some of Charlie's new ones can be added ;)

Wakey Wakey to Robins Great Thread!
I was just taking some shots of a few knives yesterday, and got out these two very Elusive Waynorth Cutlery SFO'S from slightly earlier days..

This knife is absolutey Stunning in every way..... I cant get enough of it, now I am not too sure of how many were made ( anyone help me out? ) but the numbers were low..

Another rare wee Gem, a special knife to me, on top of that - this is 1 of 4 ever made...

Great collection of Washingtons, Al!!

Nice to see an Ancient made it to France, Jp!!

Duncan, just a handful of those 3-blade #66s were made, less than 10 for sure. More were made as Bullwinkle Moose knives. The first appearance of peachseed jig from GEC as I recall.
That Diamond Jack gets me every time I look at one. A favorite execution of a favorite pattern.
