The culmination of about two solid years of searching came about today; I give you, at long last, the HJ1.

It's a user, but that's A-OK by me. It's riding in my pocket right now. Happily. :D Notice the two different shades of the covers? It reminds me of Sarah's harlequin TC! Obviously it's not that different, but I love it!

Congrats, Dan!! To me, who hasn't been looking for one, that's a great-looking knife.:thumbup:
After all the time and effort you've invested, it must be absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. :D:D;)

The Washington Jack is Autumn Bone, the Diamond Jack is Old Tan Bone.
Really dandy pocket knives in every way! Excellent traditional patterns and superior craftsmanship!

Seeing those two just makes me want to thank Charlie ... Thank you Charlie! :D

Let's try another one... I think I got the bolster dusted this time.
Michael

Michael - Beautiful knife and a very cool photo:cool::)

Pair of Jacks
The Washington Jack is Autumn Bone, the Diamond Jack is Old Tan Bone.
Really dandy pocket knives in every way! Excellent traditional patterns and superior craftsmanship!

Hal - That pair is a winning hand:D

Is there any significance to the name Washington Jack on the #77 frame SFO? I missed the details of the initial release...

It is that type of bolster you see on the Washington Jack with the extra grooving and pressing, kind of Rat-Tail with add ons:D Schatt & Morgan did indeed release a large English Jack with Sheepfoot master with such a bolster. it was a Barehead.

Duncan - I thank you for the compliment Sir! These are actually African Blackwood, but still classy I believe. Now to pay you a compliment on these beautiful Spear Blade TC's, and some terrific photos as well:thumbup: Well done my friend:cool::)
