Lets see your CPK in Leather!

I'll just leave this here. cpirtle cpirtle has outdone himself.

Thank you! Not ashamed to admit I am glad to have shipped the last of these today. I have one left I am bringing to Blade Show.

On a side note, every now and then a post notification for this thread gets buried in my email and I miss updates for a couple of weeks. It's always amazing scrolling through the new posts and seeing what our great craftsman are making. Stunning work here!

Anyone sell leather sheaths for the Utility Fighter?

You mean UF1 or 2 ? They are not fully compatible.

If you mean the UF2, here is one from Bill: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/leather-sheaths-for-carothers-knives.1865573/#post-21150501. And might want to check with Joe for available cpirtle cpirtle sheaths, like this:

beginning the design for UF2. The dagger pattern is complete, leather is roughly cut to size and now that almost all the knives in my first clump are finished or nearly there, I'll start building the run of dagger sheaths tonight. I'll be working on the UF2 sheath pattern concurrently, because making 12 exactly the same sheaths can get a little boring and developing and building a pattern is a good distraction

Can’t wait for the UF2 sheath!

Chad asked me to try out a prototype dagger sheath he made. It has a rubber like material over the leather to help prevent movement, and an extension to help with positioning, and keep it close to the body. The knife rides a little deeper than his original dagger sheath, but I can still get a pretty good three finger grip on the handle. It arrived with nice a pull the dot strap, but it was riding a little too high for me so I tried a couple of DCC clips I had available. The small behind the belt clip worked pretty well, and the sheath rode lower with the opening right at the belt line. Unfortunately it swivels a bit, and took some of the rubber like coating off. The other DCC clip is 1.75” and can be placed on the belt. I like to carry it at 3 o clock, and draw it using a reverse or ice pick grip. Overall I dig this new dagger sheath. Chad might be making some tweaks to it. He might have a version of it available at Blade.
