Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

A pair of recent adoptions, from the '50s-60's...

Very nice pair, mitch. When I started hunting in 1963, my dad's Imperial Prov was the first knife I ever used. Looks like the same one you have, and I still got it. I'm guessing the guard got bent post production, but it could be just a slightly different version.

Have been 'jonesing' for a nice stacked leather knife and after going through this thread and seeing all the nice vintage and recent production models I ordered a Hess Knives, Tiburon. It came in today and I'm impressed with it's fit and finish. It has 1095 steel, a nice, subtle convex grind, and came very sharp in a nice sheath. Preston

Very cool! Great backstory on yours, and what a great knife!
I didn't realize the guard should be straight, there's no marks or signs of a tool or shock marks bending it. Interesting.

Nice!
My wife got me the same model but in stag this year for our anniversary, great knife! But the crown on the antler makes the grip just a little short, but I can live with it.

Another variation on the Utica Sportsman and kin.
Top two are Utica Sportsmans, complete with stamps that say so. The third one looks like the Utica jigging, but has thicker blade stock and a swedged clip, as well as the larger rivets. No marks.
The bottom one I found yesterday. It's pretty much like the standard sportsman, but with a Kutmaster etch, larger rivets, and bone handles.
