Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

BPS Savage, 1066 and bog oak.

Pretty insensitive steel choice for us Anglo-Saxons.
That was funny! Probably don’t help that my last name was originally De Ferrers or that my mother’s maiden name was De Mott.

I don’t know if this belongs on the traditional board; Mods please delete if inappropriate.

This is my Springfield Armory Model 1904 Hospital Corps Bolo. Mine is stamped on the blade 1913 making it 110 years old. It’s a little hard to make out but I believe its sheath is stamped “Rock Island Arsenal 1912 H.E.K.”.

I'd say that fits right in here - nice!

I've just received this Walnut Kephart from Brisa of Finland. I'm really pleased with the knife, and dealing with them directly was a great experience :) Looking forward to getting out and using it

I'm always on the lookout for other production Kephart examples - looks like a good one, Jack!

I found out about it, that they are still around, a few minutes ago, doing a search for this knife.
According to their site they are doing quite well.
I think they are still a family firm. They were run by a husband and wife team when I dealt with them, I mainly dealt with Michael, but everyone said his formidable wife, Pauline, was the gaffer! :D

Thanks Dylan, you were very much in my thoughts when I ordered it, and I'm glad to have your opinion :)

I added another to my Kent knife collection.
I hadn't ever seen one of these before, marked General Utility Knife. There appears to be some other writing on the blade. I think I can make out 'pruning' and 'wire stripping'. From the seller's pictures, I didn't know if the handle was rubber or plastic, but upon inspection, I think it's actually jigged wood.

That's cool Rachel  Similar knives were originally sold here as 'Shoe Knives', and later as 'Lino Knives', but they're pretty useful generally. Nice collection there

Thanks, Jack. I meant I'd seen similar knives, but not one marked Kent. Same handle style as the Sportsman's, so I couldn't pass it up.
Carrying this Brisa Kephart in stabilized walnut today

I don't blame you, I'd have snapped it up! :) Just the sort of thing that might come in handy in a small general store or something :D The ones I see here are usually very plain, with wooden handles. I'm not sure I even have any pics! :D This is a larger leather knife by Harrison Brothers & Howson, couldn't resist the etch :D ;)
