Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Well... I think that those are fine and collector grade knives. Thanks for sharing!
Agreed!!

I have a Schrade bowie that is quite similar. I think I've posted it here in the past, but maybe it's time to post it again ๐Ÿ˜ Very nice pile of knives you have there!! I too liked stacked leather on fixed blades. There's just something about it I can't quite put my finger on.

Thanks! I'm a hands on kinda guy and wanted to see how a few of these stacked up. The union is pretty neat and the oldest but certainly lighter duty. The Schrade is a good all around utility knife and I've been a fan of Schrade forever. My pap had a 165 old timer that always just impressed me. Robeson is my newest affliction and I don't see it going away anytime soon... Awesome knives.

The Randall was my G-grandfathers. Poor thing has seen better days but it is one heck of a knife. I ordered my own in a different model... But it's going to take a good number of years to receive it unfortunately.

Well... That is very true but with some of these knives it seems like much of the same games as the watch sellers. Randall and GEC especially seem like people just buy them to mark them up because you can't get one. To each their own... No judging here I'm just not a fan of those games and would rather wait and get one to my own specifications at retail. It's already out of place for me to order a $500 knife... Haha

I don't need a Randall, but have wanted one since seeing the one in my post when I was a little dude. ๐Ÿ™‚. Now it is at least in motion.

I don't have any fine or collector grade knives... More like an accumulation of users that I find interesting.

These are a few oldies that I've enjoyed quite a bit.

Union
Schrade H-15
Robeson
Randall

Stacked leather is my favorite. That union has nice bone scales though. At least I think it's bone... Doesn't melt.
The H-15 is a great favorite of mine.
Sorry you got stuck with that big Randall, though.๐Ÿ˜

One of those knives that just feels just right to me.

I can't retrieve the trashed pic of the Western/Boulder Colo/USA tang stamp.

Had my fixed blades out to apply some mineral oil to the blades, the possibles bag got a coat of mink oil. I know most of us here just enjoy messing with our gear in between use. Took this pic of the Helize made knife while I had it out.

My take on contemporary/traditional nordic knives. Full custom little sloyd/puukko knife kind of like a Mora 120 and then a big old Lauri brand "Little Leuku 180" blade with a custom handle. These two have become like the main drivers of my carving and wood crafting kit. The Little Leuku is surprisingly nimble since the blade isn't real tall like most leuku models and this allows me to do like 80-90% of the initial work with it before having to switch to the smaller sloyd knife for the real detail work.

Dangit, I really didn't need to know Brisa had a kephart model now! Looks like a great take on it too.

Got my GEC H20 back from Glennbad and made this sheath for it.
The sheath I made before was already oversized to accomodation the too wide steel belt clip I used , and the stag scales it now has are a bit thinner so it was swimming in the old one and needed a new sheath.

This sheath will just be temporary, I made it from a couple scraps I scrounged up and need to get some more leather.
