Just for the name I had to give it a home.Especially for a Lincoln. I wouldn't mind rebuilding it, but I have zero time.
It almost looks like the Chute knife is an offspring.

I just want to encourage YOU and everyone else here in this fine forum that these old TRADITIONAL knives are really worthwhile projects!!.

For example:

Here is an old original authentic 1916 Marbles WOODCRAFT knife that my friend Jim Behring lightly buffed out, re-handled in the original stacked leather and colored spacer configuration, and then topped off with the original type Stag pommel.. He really brought her back to LIFE in all her original GLORY IMHO..

I was in charge of the Sheath.. Yea, I know it looks pretty crappy, but I did the best I could at the time considering that this was back around 5 years or so ago and the remnants of the original Woodcraft Marbles sheath was pretty much in pieces..

Whoa Elliot, now that is one fine looking traditional Laconico custom Bowie.

Please elaborate a bit on size and materials, and does she have a sheath yet?

Anthony, the blade is about 6.25" to the guard. Very comfortable cocobolo handle. Steel is 5160 (sharpened to near perfection).

Yep, has a sheath and a frog made by the maker. I'll see if I can't snap an image for you.

EDITED TO ADD IMAGE:

Here ya go, Anthony:

Now that is what I call a sharpened side arm!. Great knife my friend. :)

Just playing with a new camera. Mike Zima - ebony - about 6 3/4" overall - Paul Long leather. How 'bout that stove pipe kick on a fixed blade :D

Your old Marbles looks great Anthony. The old ones deserve to be revived.
I kick myself almost every day. I had some early ones that were in excellent condition that I sold . Now the nice ones are harder to come by..

Elliott, your Laconico is a beauty. Nice package

Thanks for the kudos, Mike. I reckon I am a BRK&T and vintage Marbles kinda guy..

And especialy so since last week Marbles announced the chapter 7 bankrupsy news.. :(

Can't go wrong with either of those choices Anthony. I'm just gettin started with the BRK's, but am very happy with them. The only problem is, they make way to many choices :D

Pulled off one heck of a trade today for this 2007 custom Treeman and hand made Mosher sheath.. Had to give up a vintage Fight'n Rooster Stockman, 4 boxes of Winchester 7.62 caliber full metal jacketed rifle ammo and a brand new extra large Norton bench stone.. But it was worth it.. I just love the barter system.. :D

Nice score Anthony... Thats a great lookin set. Its amazing how much stuff a guy can find to trade when he really wants something isn't it :D

Heres my first BRK in Desert Ironwood that I picked up a couple weeks ago.
Anthony, After seeing the pic of your Antique Bone Stag BRK, I bought a Antique Bone Stag BRK Woodland and Pro Scalpel II :D. I can't take picks right now though because our high zoot camera is in being serviced :(
