I bought this knife almost 30 years ago for $2 and has seen a lot of use

I love that Western "Woodcraft!" Marbles didn't do it any better. Mike Stewart really did a fine job on it, too!

Here is an old Ruana sticker and two examples of the tradition carried on by his grandson Vic Hangas.

Peter Bauchop "Witch" in 1/4" D2. A lot of fixed-blades have come and gone around here over the years, but I've never been tempted away from this one, not that I have much use for an 11" OAL dagger...

Here is my pocket sheath knife, a Charles May FireAnT in S30V. I carry it in my front pocket just about every day along with one slipjoint.

A Marbles Northwoods Big game Skinner in 52100 from back in the day when Mike Stewart was at the helm.

The absolute sharpest factory edge I ever saw on any knife. A wicked cutter.

Doing something a little different for Christmas this year..

I've started pushing of a few of my older used knives but still-in-good- serviceable-shape out the door via a worthy cause, with some in basic hand made leather pouch sheaths as gifts to the guys and gals in our U.S. Military in need of a good knife. Then, my wife has been packing up a small care package to go along with it(tooth brush, tooth paste, razors, shaving cream and the like) along with a little Christmas card that my kids sign.. The response and resulting gratitude has been phenomenal!!

Here is a few we just sent on to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan.
