Thanks Jeff, I reckon so my friendJack, your new FB looks very much like what I've read the original Bowie knife as used in the Sandbar Fight probably looked like, although with possibly a longer blade than yours. Very nice!

Nice score JerCold Steel Commercial Series, which means you have to buy the sheath separately. I had to get it from a separate vendor, and the postage was more than the sheath. But worth it to not have to carry any sheath that I might make.

That kerf in the throat squeezes the handle instead of snapping onto it. I think it's an improvement.
