You might say this $10 gravel pit Buck brought me full circle, except I never close a loop. My first bulletproof and perfect forever knife was a Buck 119 in the mid-seventies. This one is from 1990, by the tang stamp.
I know some prefer the old flap holster, but I like this type.

I looked online at the moonshiner and the Hudson bay for a long time before deciding on the Hudson bay.

Kinda wish I went with the moonshiner. It looks great.

The altrox looks awesome but it's really pointy for a chopper. The Plan A would probably be perfect but I didn't see it until after the knife was on the way

It must be at least 10 years since I bought the Moonshiner Rick, for the low price I couldn't believe how much steel I was getting! Bearing in mind how little I've used it, it may not have been great value though!
