With all those autumn colors outside I was worried my Izzy could get lost amongst the leaves if I left it desert camo on desert tan ... so:

This wrap is somewhat easier to do (for me) as I only have to worry about one lose end.

Mine is my work knife, and because I'm an environmental/water quality guy I use it with wet hands pretty often. 550 cord isn't especially helpful in this situation, so I wrapped it with an old leather boot lace. Feels nice, we'll see how it works tomorrow. If it loosens up when wet I'll soak the leather and re-wrap it. I'm still debating how to terminate the wrap. The square knot adds alot of bulk but i like the extra security. I may eliminate that and find something low(er) profile.

You can try soaking the lace for a while then wrapping the Izula with the wet lace. when it dries it should tighten up.

It's not paracord, but I love it. It's the ultimate easy-to-find cordage, because it's got a Scotch-Brite strand woven in.

Okay, I am totally exited that I just learned how to post my own pictures. Here is my Izual wrap:

After tying a square knot on the inside I gave it a good burn all over to make sure it would never loosen up.
