Lets see your paracord wrapped Izula!

Those are all great looking blades! Gives me a bunch of ideas on how I can plan to wrap mine once I get around to ordering it. :o

I rub the Izula down in a quality gun oil before wrapping, then wrap the Izula, then spray the wrap and knife with a dry lube.

I'm not familiar with dry lube -- is that a silicone-based lubricant? Does it or the gun oil leave any residue that gets on your hands whenever you pick up the knife?

I used to see ads for a sort of liquid plastic stuff that you would dip your pliers handles, etc into for creating an insulated grip, like this stuff: http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Plasti_Dip

Has anyone tried that with the Izula, either by itself or as a base layer before wrapping with paracord? It seems like it could help prevent moisture from getting trapped under the paracord?

As I haven't stripped the Izula yet, I don't see any issues even with wet paracord, but I must admit that I did treat the lasered number with wax before wrapping. Plastidip would be more durable than wax, but frankly I don't see myself having the same paracord on over long periods.

While I like the look of the multi-colored wrap, The black wrap just draws my eyes to it more. So many decisions.

Standard wrap with gutted cord, very different feel than with normal cord. It's slim but still has more grip than if it was unwrapped, plus it looks cool. I like it.

The flat gutted cord looks good. I had done another necker similiarly.

Yos, I believe that's the coolest braided Izula I've seen.

It might be fun to have a wrapping contest ....like a people's choice award thingy.....winner gets.......sumpin.

There are lots of cool wrapping ideas on the thread.

has anyone tried to put a small fire steel inside the cut out in the handle and then wrapping over it. Seems like it would be a great way to always have an extra fire steel.
