Re-wrapped. I need to get a better camera, the one on my phone isn't that great.

I took the inner string out of the paracord, I actually like the feel much better. It goes with the small lightweight theme of the knife as well.

where can I buy paracord by the foot. I want just enough to wrap my izula, i don't need 50ft of it. If somebodies willing to sell me 5ft or so, that'd be great

Mine will be here tomorrow, and after looking at this thread I will be up all night thinking about how I'm gonna wrap the thing. Great!

It's like $10 for 100 foot. With as useful As it is, and shipping costs I'd go that way. knivesshipfree.com I've ordered from and shipping was free. Ecos knives does 20 footers but didn't fuse them. Personally, I'm ordering a thousand footer soon.

I highly recommend ksf. Gotten 2 knives and a ton of cord there

How do you finish the wrap like that 5.56? Is there a tutorial somewhere. I much prefer that to wrapping the whole ring.

I simply tied them off and tucked them in. The other side doesn't look as clean as the front. ;)

Here's the wrap I came up with, or the finish for the wrap. I will get a better picture tomorrow, but it's just a half-hitch at the end that's cut and burned right up against the wraps. Works for me. Also my new Gossman striker.

im still waiting impatiently for my Izula, but when i get it and when ive done the wrap ill post it

Do any of you all worry about the wrap holding moisture, say after using the knife near water or while sweating, and causing rust? Would rubbing the handle with bees wax first help prevent that, or just make the knots slide around on the knife?

My Izula is still bare, haven't wrapped it yet.

I rub the Izula down in a quality gun oil before wrapping, then wrap the Izula, then spray the wrap and knife with a dry lube.
