Lets see your Patinas!

I just forced a light patina on my new SFO #85 Easy Open. The area I reside in gets very wet and humid, so I like to force a light patina using lime juice on my new keepers.

Nice EO 85 you have there! I love that single blade version.

What knife is this again? I always like the look but can never remember what that pattern is called?

Great Eastern Cutlery #71 Bull Nose. The pattern is the sodbuster.

Some before and after pics of my 2 most recent carried knives. The patina pics are a little old too but you get the idea.

Here's vinegar patina with a "hamon line":D Wrapped in vinegar soaked toilet paper then rip the edge off. I redid the hamon line on this one but didn't get a pic ;-(

Best regards

I cleaned this one up over the summer after dropping it in the hotel pool. Getting back to it's old self.

They are kind of pretty at this stage of the game...

I decided to break in my new knives by just tossing them in my kitchen cutlery drawer, and using them for food prep, I treat them just like my other kitchen knives...

This one is coming along very nicely.

Here is what it looked like when I first got it, about 9 months ago:
