Steven Roos, do you carry it around the waist or on the shoulder? I origninally got it for around the waist carry when at work, and really like the FACT that it ISN'T a FANNY PACK:barf: . I also like how you can carry it on the shoulder, but since I got the Fatboy, It will primarily be used for around the waist.:)

My sentiments as well.

Come on I know there's a bunch of you out there with Really nice hard-use, utilitarian gear! Let's see what you got and why you like it, etc.!

I use a fanny pack designed from small camera carry. Padded. Holds my basic mini kit, flashlights, first aid, fire starting, multi tool, money, cards, ID and PDA. About 2.5x6x 3.5 Small. Light. Comfy.

i've got a Chrome Kremlin-also known as Gigantor! i put it over my right real wheel when it gets icy...

I have a Max Condor with a M2 and M4 attached, all in black. When I need more room, I add the Proteus.

See now, that was what I thought. I have a Fatboy and figured that you could carry in on your waist and was told that it is for shoulder carry. That just isn't comfortable to me! Glad to hear that I am not the only one....:p

"Kit bag"...
"European"...
"Man-Purse"...
LOL!
The other night I was out to dinner with my GF and two of her girlfriends (It was a FREE meal) and the her friend that I refer to as "Man-hater" kept eyeing my Fatboy, and upon realizing I was dressed all 'euro-fancy boy complete with hair product, I started to feel weird... I just kept thinking to myself "Dude, you got para-cord and Surefires in there... We're OK...ok...."
:( ;)

Phatch, Tony you got a pic of your setup?

Keep 'em Comin' guys!!!

That Filson is CLASSY! I like the camel shot. James, is the SunGear pretty rugged? It looks like a really comfy bag.

That's what I'm seeing here... and while I don't have any pics, I've probably got a "shoulderbag" as surplus from every major European army - talk about your "Euro-trash"! LOL!!!

I have a major bag fetish - I've got at least 6 day bags from different makers, 2 major backpacks, literally dozens of shoulder bags - some made for our "toys", most adapted to them... 4 or 5 lumbar-style fanny packs and three different gunnysack waistpacks...

And no pics, sorry to say... maybe I should just open my own outlet store for used bags...

Unfortunatly, everytime I go to a thread like this... I end up getting another bag!!!

The search for the perfect bag goes on...

Yeah, I got a SERIOUS bag fetish, but I have mine after about 5 years, I FINALLY have it narrowed down to SIX!!! I even have a bad problem of carrying a bag in a bag to organize the 'big' empty spaces so all my little stuff doesn't just float around. The Maxpedition gear optimized this for me and gave me an excuse to get new gear... Wether I'm riding with my Pac or my Chrome, I got an extra little BOB type bag in there. My friends, family, GF all are puzzled by my bag in bag in bag in bag system... :D

I use either my Hydrastorm Tactician or a new leather shoulder bag from Wilson's leather.
