I agree, if a past owner modded that Ulster they did a pretty good job. The funny thing about my Imperial 90% of the metal is untouched, looks like they had a bit of pepper spots of rust here and there and rubbed it off with a fine grit paper. But the etch side of the main they really went all out. Looks to me before they did it the blades was 98% as new looking as yours. At least I believe the store owner when he says their as he found them. He's a very knowledgeable antique guy, older gentleman so only open when he feels up to it. Knives aren't his specialty but he knows to leave it how you found it.

I’ve had my eye on this pattern for a long time and was excited to track this one down at a great price. The punch seems very functional, I like the aesthetics of both openers, and, being Camillus, I know the main is going to take a stellar edge. I’m looking forward to getting it sharpened up and put to service.
