Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

My favorite Case pattern

I like the Swayback, Jerry! Here's one that I don't think is in this thread yet. My apologies if it is.

Peregrin Peregrin Gary that is one very nice swayback, I don't recall seeing it.
Thanks Jerry. It was an SFO for a dealer a few years back. I don't think they are around anymore. The Damascus on it has great contrast and the red stag with the engraving really makes a great looking knife.

Thanks, JohnDF, and black mamba. I sure enjoy seeing so many wonderful Case knives in this thread!!!

I got my very first case knife today! My dad knew I had been wanting one for a while now. So he bought me one that he came across at an estate sale, BNIB! I absolutely love it! Thanks Dad! Not 100% sure what pilot test run is though. Would it be sacrilege to use this bad boy? Or can I start looking for things to cut?

Nice Case knife - also perfect for carry on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and the Fourth of July! I’d carry and use - it's more special as it’s a gift from your Dad. Use not abuse! OH

Yep, I would carry it too. Glad you decided to do that. You'll enjoy it much more that way.

In my opinion, Case got this pattern right (yours looks like a 104052) by building it with four different blades instead of a pair of twin blades like most Congress knives have.

I saw a Pilot Test Run Muskrat for sale a week or so ago and the run size on that particular knife was 250. I don't know if all Pilot Test Run knives are limited to 250 or not. I have no idea but I thought I would share that for whatever it's worth.

That being said, I still agree that your pocket is the best place for it.

I've recently been carrying a custom sowbelly and have taken to the pattern, so when I found a Case I knew I had to have one. A single blade yellow delrin in CV. Dollar for dollar it's as good as they come. F&F is is near flawless with smooth transitions, no gaps, and a centered sharp blade. A nearly complete sunken joint makes it very pocket friendly. The W&T is is right were it needs to be. A 5-6 on the pull with no half stop. Oh, and did I mention not only was it half a Benjamin but they included a t-shirt. Who doesn't like free stuff!?IMG_6292-800x646.JPG IMG_6293-800x552.JPG
