Most of the Buck 110 clones look so much like a Buck you need to read the tang stamp. The Case Hammerhead and Case Mako had a unique STYLE, they really look like a product of the 1970’s. The Case Hammerhead is a pretty good working knife too. The blade etch on yours looks nice, mine is very faded but the knife is still tight and holds a fine edge. OH

In one post I was looking at in the last week there were several versions of the Case Whittler built on the 47 frame featured. I can't find that thread now, but I remembered buying a Case Whittler kit at a gunshow in Winston-Salem about 8 or 9 years ago. Here is the knife (6347WH SS) from that kit, it's of wedged/two spring construction from 2010 featuring red bone handles. I remember finding another, a CSA commemorative that had three spring construction but a Whittler blade layout - I would have bought it too, but it had a very wobbly main blade so I left it there. OH

1998 long pull CASE SELECT PEANUT
The girl you LIKE but don't want to kiss LOL
I'll keep this knife because I like it. I want to love this knife but just not feeling it.
I should love it. Sapphire blue is my birth (stone) color ... it's shiny and sharp.
But long pull on a peanut? ... come on, seriously
Polished steel? ... wait, a Peanut is a little work horse
Blue bone? ... what the heck kind of animal has blue bones anyway
Besides, this "girl" is only 23yrs old ... WAY too young for me

I think your peanut is a looker, I would take her dancing. She could stay with me, if you're not happy with her. Blue bone and long pulls suit me fine.
