Here’s a 2019 6254 in pocket worn Old Red Bone corncob jig... built quite well and I do like it’s crimson hues.

Received this CASE TB71028W SS Green Curly Maple today and had hoped to pocket it, covering Wharnie AND Wooden Wednesday this week, but that is not to be the 'CASE'.
Hopefully this beauty with be enroute back to the mothership tomorrow for repair dangit.

First thing I noticed was how far off center the blade is. While extremely disappointed, I decided to just bear it since the blade doesn't strike the liner.

BUT THEN ... I found the pile side Curly Maple cover so lifted from the liner at the tang bolster, I could see daylight !!! DAYLIGHT !!!
Never mind the space between the backspring and liner. I've come to expect that with production knives.
But the dang space between the Curly Maple and liner is EVEN WIDER !!!

This piece looks like it was made in Sheffield, not Bradford LOL. Tony Bose must be turning over ...

What a buzz kill. And it had such potential.

Thanks Brother ! I’m really liking this one the fit and finish is beautiful with nice and snappy walk and talk . The worked bolster I thought I’d give it a try since never owned one but also thought it might have to much bling bit it’s actually pretty subtle .

Feels good to the touch with no sharp edges which was another concern
Edit: Also I forgot to mention both my Sway Backs the back springs are flush at the half stop, when opened and closed . Not a deal breaker when their not but normally you don’t see that except on customs. So that was a added bonus. Case did a fine job on these Bose Sway backs no doubt.

They did. I only have two, a Jack in Chestnut CV and a Gent in Bermuda Green SS and they both are flush at the half stop. Very nice knives, and that new one of yours is a real looker!

Another winner Factor! The action is fantastic. Mine developed a small amount of blade rap but a new edge took care of that.

Oh man sorry to hear this !
I’ve had a USPS package travel around the country one time so I know what your feeling.
Fortunately it only happen once out of more times then I can count but one time to many.

USPS is not the only erratic Postal service. Recently I was advised by DHL that a parcel from Slovakia (???) had been delivered (re???) to my door...
Having received nothing, I asked la Poste, whose answer is : the parcel with this tracking n° was duly delivered, but not to your adress and to another name. AHHHH! The famous German efficiency...


While waiting for a grey bone, I use the acrylic.
