Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

I have bought and sold many many Case knives over the last 10 years to help support my knife passion but these are my current heard.
A Torpedo, a couple of Jacks and this older Hawbill that was rehandled in mammoth ivory, with new red liners for me several years ago.

Love seeing all of the nice old red bone Case knives that so many folks are posting here. Maybe my newer red version of the Mini Copperlock might look almost as nice in about 40 years. I like the clip blade on these, and this one has good lock-up, blade centering, and F&F.

I'm gonna have to take some pics later but here are a few

A rare day off so thought I'd post some vintage red bone pre 80's case knives. Several 1940-1964 era and all others no older the 1976. Raised on CASE red bone and possess a special place in my heart for the drop dead gorgeous era red bones.

I have some others,. Big Jacks #6292's and others to post later, these were just handy for pictures today. I sold off so many over that last few years and am determined to rebuild my collection.

Those are fantastic. I notice the 2 different hawkbill profiles up top. One was tipped and reprofiled? Great pic & collection. Thanks for sharing.

These just joined my small but growing collection of old(er)Case knives. Didn't have any brown jigged delrin so these seemed just right

I REALLY like that 6279! Might have to hunt one of those down.

Are those As Ground blades on that little gem?

It's a great little pattern! Yes " As Ground" blades. Pretty sure it's taking over my not at work carry. It's just enough bigger then the IKE to make it fit in the hand better but still keeps the blade sizes the same. Here's a few blade and size comparisons with the Eisenhower then I tossed in a peanut and a medium jack built on the 087 pattern which I just love.

I kind of think of it as a blue collar Eisenhower

Man, I've got to find one of those. I have an Eisenhower and I like it but that 6279 just sings to me. Thanks for the comparison pics. The hunt begins.

Sometimes the hunt is the best part! Good hunting, enjoy

Thanks BLB, yep someone did a factory like job shortening/re-profiling the upper left red bone Pruner. They even worked in the swedge:thumbup:

I have to take some pics. Dad gave me his collection of Case knives before he passed, and the pics in this thread are great.

Probably my favorite knife I own. I bought this knife especially to put into my pocket not the collection case.

It's a 65'-69' (63)087HE stockman. Seller called it mint, price said carry grade, showed up somewhere in the middle and I couldn't be happier. This one will be pretty tough to lose its place in my pocket!

Here's a couple of comparison shots of it and and new model 087 medium jack...it's a tad shorter and thinner which makes it sit perfectly in my watch pocket!
