  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

My first canoe. Just received it yesterday and I'm already a big fan. I predict more of these in my future.

A neglected (maybe, not intentionally) Case XX (1940-1964) pitted blade 6232 Jack. Great well worn bone and pretty much full blades with no play period. But the carbon demons got to it but that doesn't stop years of service lying ahead of this great old girl

If you're going to collect a particular pattern, that's a good one to choose. :)
Yep, just Something about that pattern clicks with me. 😊👍
Is the one on the right bone stag, or genuine stag? Looks really nice...
Thanks Hornetguy, it’s genuine stag. It’s better than I expected which is always a good thing. 😊👍

She’s gorgeous Paul! 😎😊
How'd that Boker sneak in there???
Wow, what a great looking collection John.
😎👍
Reminds me of that old Sesame Street segment: “one of these things is not like the others.” 🤣

Thanks Todd, I like rescuing a knife that someone gave up on. I like putting it to good use knowing it sat neglected somewhere all alone in the dark:(😁

I was hoping someone could give me some information on this one. Most 35 1/2s I have seen have the secondary behind the main (something I actually prefer) and this one has a more forward nail nick on the main blade than I see in most pictures. The tang stamps indicates 65-69 if I’m not mistaken. It has really nice action and nice scales but my question to the Case experts out there is, has this one been modified or is it original?FAADCA48-3D75-4F0D-8021-88E18A21D166.jpeg8CBD8BCA-924B-4CAE-A14A-4DE588A042B8.jpeg59B35891-70FC-49A1-B123-4B8D4F5A0828.jpeg

There is some speculation the variation you have (and similar Barlows) were contract made knives (possibly by Camillus). The nail-nick on the main blade is positioned forward, a sure sign the knife was manufactured that way. I have a Case Barlow built like your Jack. OH
