This is a Chestnut Jigged Bone Backpocket in CV. They are some beautiful knives, unfortunately I believe this model has been discontinued.

Great shots AL. Tough to find that rich color now.
Amber Bone Texas Jack, my only Case at the moment and I am pretty impressed with it. For $38 its a steal, the edge was a little rough but it sharpened up so easy....I have yet to get a GEC to sharpen this quick. Just need to decide if it should be dyed cocoa brown or left to age as is.

I thought the same thing Joe. It came in and noticed how well built this one was, good snap, good blade shapes, nice size, and what nice jigging it had. I could use just this $38 dollar knife and it would meet just about every need and if it broke or got lost I could get a replacement.
Makes me wonder sometimes why I am constantly on the hunt. Oh well ...

Harry, that is an exceptional pen knife!!! The deep rich color of that stag is outstanding!!! I imagine it gets carried quite often.

Used & sharpened a bit. I do like the bone a lot, and will enjoy cleaning this one up.

Cocoa Brown with a splash of Cherry Red makes for a great color on Amber Bone.

Thank you very much for the kind words James , Ge Jr , and Paul . SWMBO bought that for me at an Antique Store probably 8 years ago and I have never carried it before today . I have just wanted to keep it as it is . It is kind of a special little knife to me . It is now back in it's little spot in the case .
