Thanks guys! I haven't actually received it yet. This is the pick Rick sent me, he just completed it. I don't know if it's a real nickel Douglas. I would have to ask Rick, or maybe Tony might know, he's got one on one of his sheath from Rick.

My much beloved Great White Buffalo. Allen almost threw this in the dumpster he was so frustrated with the knife...thankfully I persuaded him to finish it and let me have it on my first visit to the forge. 5/32 full height flat grind CPM 154, slices like a gem!

Very nice set! Man I love that swedge, and the wrapped mini axe is so cool.

I've only handled the hemp wrapped blades, but really like that rawhide look. And it's cold here too. I think we hit 3 degrees last night.

Very nice Douglas. I can't decide what handle material for my mini ax to go with but its narrowed down to wrapped or Ironwood. Yours looks great in that pic.

There's also little brother to the Revenant and unnamed coming soon, if I read Instagram correctly. You know we will all need to add it to our collections. It looks like it would EDC exceptionally well and probably get less stares than seeing Tony in Walmart with the Revenant on his hip.

Still in the teens here in East TN so the snow is sticking around. Have you named this one yet Allen?

Yeah, there's a little brother coming. I've been on self-imposed restriction for 5 weeks now, and have held the line on knife purchases. Allen's timing is deadly.

And it all depends on which Walmart. Asheville area = no way! But out in my neck of the woods things are a bit less uptight. And my friends wonder why I won't come to Asheville?
