Let's see your W.A. Surls Knife!

Bill, some day I have to see that entire collection. What a beautiful picture!

Thanks Bob, I really love this style.

Thank you, I was messing around outside and decided to take a quick pic.

Thanks bro, appreciate that. We'll have to talk about that, I think you may be surprised...

Oh I can only imagine! Maybe at Trackrock. With cigars...
Carrying two of the latest with me now as I head out to the woods for the last few days of deer season. Still haven't gotten a shot at that buck, but if and when I do, I intend to bloody up these new Frontier models!

I hope you get him Tony! That would make some good pics too!

Is this the guy you're talking about Allen? Because he's driving me freakin nuts! Comes past my spot every night just after dark. Been on this guy's trail all season. I'm on a quick coffee/breakfast break, and I'm right back out there. Oh...I will take a break to check the Friday threads though!

From yesterday. I was hunting, but it was cold and I needed a distraction. And of course I had a daypack full of different knives. And the log is cool and green and pretty, so might as well.

The new, smaller "Unnamed" from Allen's Frontier line, with my very old Fiddleback Arete. I wish I had gotten this one early in its life. I snagged it off the flea market, and you can see it shows signs of neglect. But I have a thing for things with imperfections.

A Fiddleback, Surls, and Rechsteiner!

Love the wood on that Arete. One may label imperfections what another would label character.

So I initially worried this was so nice I would be afraid to carry it. That took all of about 30 seconds and the sheath arriving to say...whatever. ;)

that might be the best one yet!!!

carry that thing

I will. I certainly appreciate the artistry but I do use everything I own. This will start as my new "gentleman's" edc.

Yeah...what Phillip said. That is just a classy, beautiful knife. I agree...maybe the best one yet!

Thank you. Allen knocked this out of the park and was kind enough to notice my desire for a desert ironwood mini-hunter in the Wish List thread and reached out to me. My knife budget was pretty shot but he sent me a picture. I made it happen. ;)

Thank you! And thank you for offering it to me. You should be proud of your work and the fact that the things you make today can literally be passed down and enjoyed for generations.
