So who’s going to play the NW lottery tomorrow? LOL Better setup your super dual Computer towers and put your smart phones and tablets in your drawers or they might melt down faster then the error messages you’ll get if you try to use them .
Before the lynch mob comes for me I must say I must Like the pain of failure because I might make one last attempt

Is it possible the picture that he posted a few weeks ago was just these blades unfinished and not clip points? That's my guess.
No, it's just business as usually to keep the excitement churning. Everyone is checking the KSF site, and their Facebook, and their Instagram & waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I am very busy scouring the web for info about the next Northwoods and stumpled on this old fb post from ksf. I laughed when I got to the last line. Nice success story.View attachment 838627
I think it was figured out !
Make a 100 of them and tell 1000’s of people so they can tell 1000’s more lol then tell all of them at once what day and time they will be listed :p Brilliant !

The original photo looked like clip points, which I think would have a smaller profile than the wharncliffe. I could be wrong.

How fast do these actually go? I'm thinking of giving it a shot for the first time. If I'm on my phone refreshing at 4, with autofill ready to go on checkout, is it still luck of the draw?

Last time they were all gone in minutes getting snatched from your cart while your entering check out . Every time I tried to check out after putting it in my cart it would say there was nothing in my cart lol . Then those good ole error messages when you picked another ..
Ok maybe I won’t try tomorrow I’m starting to have flash backs lol .
Oh and that was seconds after putting it in cart and being at the buying page .

It sounds like they list these individually - which makes zero sense to me. With most of the covers being micarta there is going to be little variation from one to the other. Seems it would alleviate a lot of issues if they did one listing per each cover, and then it's only sold out when the entirety of each cover option is gone.

Couldn’t agree more !! Especially since you don’t have time to look at them anyway because of the cart robbery lol .
I was just hitting anyone not even seeing the covers and running to checkout and it would still get snagged from the cart lol.

I'll have to see for myself tomorrow - this will be my first time trying to get a NW. Sounds like it's going to be a frustrating experience.

In my limited experience, this is the way it's done with the Micartas. The Giraffe Bone should be the only option with individual pictures.

A micarta option should be doable. I don't think they are individually listed like the natural cover materials.

I like this upcoming Northwoods. Dogleg frames with wharncliff blades look wicked. Just look at GEC's #18 Coyote, #55 Houndstooth, and #92 Talons. All have that same dangerous, flowing look.

The only ones they offer individual pictures of are natural covers. Micarta covers are a single listing for each type. TheFactor must be talking about the bone or mammoth covers on the last runs. They are listed individually since the covers vary so much.
-Caleb.
Caleb if you meant the ones that were disappearing out of my cart before I could even enter check out which was one click of a second away. It was pretty much no matter what I choose which was everything . I gave up trying to pick out a certain cover and was hitting what ever I could with no luck . I was on furious rampage :)

From what I've seen the list the stag, mammoth, and bone with individual images since of course each will look different.

Then the others like wood or micarta will be bulk. The last couple runs with natural materials seemed to last longer with examples still available a couple days afterwards with runs with just the micarta scales seeming to sell out in minutes.

I think the run with the orange looking bone lasted the longest.

I tried to get a giraffe, but couldn't keep one in the cart long enough. Had to settle for red micarta.

How'd everyone make out? I surprisingly landed a nice looking giraffe bone - but not the first one I chose. I was refreshing at 4 and chose a random one as soon as they populated, got through the purchase screens with autofill in about 30 seconds, but lost that knife. Went through the list again and tried my luck with one that looked black and white, and somehow the purchase went through on that one - probably two minutes after 4.

There were some wild giraffe colors in there. Pretty sure I saw one that looked almost solid green and another that looked purple.
