Haha. Now is not the time. It was a fun goal, though.Wow! That is quite the group shot. I need to step my game up.
That would be nice, but that Wharncliffe is fantastic!

I agree. I searched far and wide for the #55 Hounds Tooth and was finally able to purchase one from a great forum member that gave me a fantastic price. It is cherished to me, but I do LOVE a Clip Blade. That would be nice, but that Wharncliffe is fantastic!

I hope some day they run a 55/56 with a single Clip Blade.![]()
I never lost my love of the brand, but it's going to take something special to get me off the fence.reinvigorated my love of the brand.
I love the 55 with the wharncliffe, and I’m not a big wharncliffe fan, usually. I too love clips, and spears, but neither of them worked on the 56 for me. I was really excited for both, but quickly passed them along.I agree. The Osage Barlow is certainly something special, but that's such a long shot it's not worth leaving my perch.
Did they ever do a Single Clip?I too love clips... but neither of them worked on the 56 for me.

Not that I know of. For me it was more the angle that the clip sat open at. They did have the single spear. Same opinion for me.Did they ever do a Single Clip?
I think GEC's version of the Dogleg works best as a single blade

Bookmarked!I posted this a while ago, before some recent models, and some models are missing, but I think it still stands as a decent comparison shot.
Great Eastern Cutlery ( GEC ) group shots / photo requests
Lol...all it would take is Jiki giving me a little push

Thanks guys. I do have a Single Spear #55 that I like, mostly because of the frame and not so much for the fat spear.remember that dogleg as a spear, single spear
I understand that some don't like a down-canted blade, I happen to be one that likes it though. For me it was more the angle that the clip sat open at.
Right? It's about the most pocket friendly knife i own. It’s the best way to appreciate the handle shape.
all it would take is Jiki giving me a little push and I’m back in the game.
