Verdun??

The parisian catacombs. Old quarries used in ossuaries to unclog the parisian graveyards. If i well remember it was in 1786. An author, Philippe Muray, in a book, "Le 19 eme siècle à travers les ages. The 19th century through the ages", considers, with some reasons, it's the true beginning of the french revolution.

. :::: Carry laws for folding knives in California are quite reasonable.

State law may have changed since we moved to my wife’s home state, but different cities across CA (like Oakland & San Francisco) have restrictive city laws. Like blades must be shorter than 3”. And State school knife laws (626.xx PC) are also, although IME these laws were utilized to keep the good kids & staff safe from the thug students refusing to behave & stop thugging.

GEC and Case:

Very nice my friend :)
I really like the trio, a straight edge, a clip and a spear  in a very useful size !
Looks like the clip blade is doing most of the work though ;)
Thank you.
The #38 was the first one. It's very practical and takes up little space at the bottom of a pocket. Moreover its blade is not so far from the shape of my usual Laguiole. :)
The #47 I hesitate to use it because at the beginning I wanted a micarta handle, I think that maybe one day I'll be able to exchange it... (we can dream) ;)
The TC Barlow, I find it very beautiful but it is a little small for my use. For the moment it stays warm.

This will be 13 years old this year

Looks good and innocent, but those teenage years can be a challenge!:rolleyes:

Before you know it, it’ll be sneaking out at night, hanging out with a bad crowd (modern folders ;)), might even come home with a lanyard hole piercing or — god forbid — a pocket clip!
